AC electric motor repair is frequently done these days, typically for generator turbines and the like, whether for power plants or ship and aircraft engines.
Nothing unusual about any of that.
But once upon a time, just a little over a century ago, AC, or alternating current, and DC, or direct current, were quite controversial

When I was a personal fitness trainer, I wasn’t too happy with the idea of an entire certification process just so as to help people exercise.
But that was nothing compared to my shock that certification had to be maintained via online CPE courses as well!
Now needless to say the point of certification is

China, China, China – what’s the big deal?
Why is everybody going on and on about China constantly?
Okay, so they own billions (or is that trillions) in American securities, currency, whatever.
And they make lotsa stuff.
Like NFL beach towels and stuff.
Yeah.
Okay.
It’s not like most people desire to work on an assembly line

You even know that the LSAT examination for admission to

Blu Ray media are poised to take over home entertainment this year. Their main claim to fame rests upon the startling visual clarity offered by the 1080p resolution.. Though the difference between a VHS image and one from a DVD is noticeable enough, there is no comparison possible between Blu-ray and standard DVDs!

Tax continuing education is important for accountants as tax laws change all the time and with every Republican victory at the polls comes a new pair of corporate giveaways.
With a tax code that spans some sixty thousand pages, somebody’s got to keep track of it all!
And those somebodies have a lot on their

When I consider something similar to an On Off Digital World I immediately remember the good ol’ days of personal computing, the golden age of the 1980s focused on the Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga. Well, actually, despite making many a big and prestigious inroad in the marketplace, corporate missteps back at headquarters triggered

The recent Japanese catastrophe has shone a spotlight on the country’s apparently unique social structure.
Unlike many other circumstances of natural disaster elsewhere, no looting or rioting has followed to compound the tragedy — and this has tremendously impressed many a non-Japanese observer.
From the patient orderly lines to the return of valuables, “yamoto-damashii,” or

A network of Roman Catholic schools that can be traced back to early nineteenth-century France, The Convent of Jesus and Mary Schools are located throughout the world today, from Africa and Asia to Europe and the Americas. But while receiving a certain amount of financial backing from official Church coffers, local communal backing needs

Affiliate marketing is a good way for the tech-savvy hobbyist to make some money on the side.
For a select few who have managed to put their finger on the Zeitgeist, however, it means full financial independence, with income in the tens of thousands per month!

So it turns out that Jesse James enjoys Nazi paraphernalia.
No relation to the iconic Wild West figure, the only claim to fame that this latter-day Jesse James has is to be married to Sandra Bullock, one of the most precious actresses of all time.
Indeed, she has been crowned “America’s Sweetheart” by the celebrity

It’s among the safest places in Manhattan, or, even, the entire City of New York. But the situation wasn’t always the case. Just ask the natives, retailers such as On Off Digital World or one of the handful of mom-and-pop operations still around. They’ve seen everything, and it wasn’t always lovely.

Diversion safes are the stuff of childhood dreams for me, when every book, key, or other frequent item could contain a key or treasure map in its hollowed-out core.
They catch the imagination like nothing else, for what is a child’s imagination but that everyday things needs to be in reality extraordinary?
That secretly, the

The great thing about unlocked cell phones is that they allow for easily switching between service providers. Many handsets are available thusly, and while people often normally go with the most recent models, it frequently pays to take into account older offerings as well. For instance, unlocked cell phones such as the Nokia

Comfortably nestled on the upscale Upper East Side of New York City, the school of medicine at Cornell University both teaches and conducts research. The school can brag about quite a few luminaries among its alumni, boasting of alumni such as Robert C. Atkins of Atkins Diet fame and Henry Heimlich of Heimlich Maneuver

Do you know anything about guerrilla marketing? I came across it unwittingly recently almost outside of On Off Digital World in the middle of Manhattan. What guerrilla marketing is, is just undercover marketing. Basically covert marketing! Like what happened to me, for instance. I met a pair of charming young

Small business loans are the way to go if you have only been in business a short while and don’t have a lot with which to go to ye olde lending institution! Most banks don’t do start-up funding, and consider such a business the same as a start-up. But it’s possible to borrow

New Blu Ray releases are just the latest embodiment of the idea captured by the familiar phrase of French origin that translates as “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” That’s because just as with the introduction of DVD a decade earlier, not every release in the new Blu-ray format lives

In 1982, a group of everyday New Yorkers disturbed at the huge numbers of completely good food being thrown out on a daily basis by local grocers and restauranteurs established City Harvest to serve as a collection and distribution point for such products. From then on, such discarded food would be gathered to be
